Student Tech Supports for Remote Learning

The Virtual Campus would like to welcome you to the Fall 2020 semester! Here are a few supports that you may find useful:

Student Tech Support Resources

  • MCC Student Tech Help Guide and the Student Login to myMCC/Blackboard instructions are great resources to keep on hand.
  • Find your courses on the Students tab in myMCC and the My Courses sub-tab. .
  • Using Zoom this semester for your classes? Check your email for important notifications from your professor or navigate to your course in Blackboard to join your Zoom meeting at the designated time.
  • MCC has a Zoom license, so you can create your own Zoom account to stay connected using your MCC email and password. Sign into your MCC Zoom account. Get tips on how to Zoom. Check out the attached Zoom Do's and Don'ts for more tips.
  • The Student Technology Help Desk (292-TECH) can assist students with basic account management, email, Blackboard Login issues, and more.
  • The SUNY Online Help Desk (1-844-OPEN-SUNY) can assist students with Blackboard related questions, for example submitting assignments, tests, seeing grades, and more.
  • The Online Learning Orientation provides support information for online learners. You can find more support on MCC Technology and Blackboard.
  • The Tech Help Tab in myMCC houses a lot of this information and more in one easy location: Go to the Students tab, and then the Technology Help sub-tab
