MCC Testing Services Earns NCTA Recertification

The Testing Services team recently achieved NCTA Test Center Recertification.

The National College Testing Association (NCTA) is a non-profit organization of testing professionals working in post-secondary institutions, in companies with test-related products and services, and in other professional testing venues.

NCTA is dedicated to the promotion of professionalism and quality in the administration of testing services and programs, including issues relating to test administration, test accessibility, test development, test scoring, and assessment.  The organization maintains a comprehensive set of standards for testing centers administering paper-pencil and computer-based examinations, as well as a compilation of useful operational guidelines (About the NCTA, 3 March 2021).

The NCTA recertification process is arduous and took almost a full year to complete, requiring documentation, photos, surveys, and site visits.

This recertification means that Testing Services conforms to the NCTA professional standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Thank you to everyone who assisted in this process.
