President's Wednesday Message

This Thursday, MCC once again hosts our Employee Holiday Reception from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe A and B) on the Brighton Campus. This festive annual event offers a chance for the College to thank you for the outstanding and inspiring work you do all year: your dedication and commitment to our students is a remarkable and lasting gift well-deserving of celebration. The reception is also a wonderful opportunity to catch up with colleagues and friends, enjoy some delicious food, and be treated to the incredible musical talents of our MCC students.

As we have each year, my family will match donations to the MCC Foundation up to $1,500. These funds will support Dreamkeepers Emergency Aid Grants, so I hope you will consider dropping a dollar or two in the fish bowl to help MCC students in need.

It has been an honor and a delight to celebrate the holidays with you each of the past ten years. Thursday's reception is my last at MCC, and I look forward to seeing so many of you there. Just in case I don't get to do it in person, I want to share my appreciation for all that you do every day to support our students and to thank you for the generosity of spirit and many kindnesses you have shown my family and me in this and every season. MCC is a very special place, and we will miss this community. We wish you a bright and happy holidays!

How has MCC's spirit of giving inspired you? Please share your thoughts and ideas on the blog.
