<p>This four-part series will provide attendees an opportunity to look deeply into their career, take advantage of this work-from-home period, and ensure that their future positions remain fulfilling. The sessions are independent of each other, so you can attend one or more of them.</p>
<p>A. UNLOCKING YOUR POTENTIAL</p>
<p>This presentation will provide ideas and techniques to help individuals re-discover their inner talents and passions.</p>

<p>B. FIVE PRINCIPLES TO GOVERN YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE</p>
<p>This presentation will cover guiding principles that are applicable to all careers. Even if you plan to remain in your current position until retirement, this session will provide ideas and information to enhance your current role.</p>

<p>C. THE POWER OF LINKED-IN</p>
<p>Join Anne Hughes from the Career Development Center as we review the power of Linked-In for career enhancement and professional development.</p>

<p>D. USING THE DISC MODEL TO ENHANCE YOUR EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE</p>
<p>For this session, attendees will be provided a DISC assessment that will help increase self-awareness and enhance one's ability to connect more effectively with others.</p>

<p>E. CAREER CONSULTATIONS</p>
<p>Given the nature of our uncertain times at MCC, these private consultations provide employees the opportunity to review their resumes, discuss career pathways, and in some cases, prepare for interviews.</p>

<p>III. FINANCIAL FIRESIDE ZOOM CHATS</p>
<p>These informative presentations will review current market conditions and provide historical perspectives for this challenging economic period. The program is presented by financial educator from VOYA, Gary Witten, and the sessions are designed for all employees from those just starting their careers to those preparing for retirement. Each workshop will cover different areas, but employees are welcome to ask any questions related to the SUNY financial benefits and their own interests.</p>
<p>A. FINANCIAL WELLNESS WORKSHOP</p>
<p>In this session, Gary will review key areas to focus on to enhance one's financial wellness during the COVID period and beyond.</p>

<p>IV. MCC STORIES</p>
<p>After two recent well-received sessions on stories about MCC employees, this program features one more theme for the summer. If anyone wishes to be a presenter with a story related to the theme of the event, please email Pam.</p>

<p>As we gear up for the fall semester, faculty and staff will share stories of students who achieved great success at MCC and beyond.</p>

<p>Lack of child care is one of the most significant barriers for college students who are parents. These "Student-Parents" balance school, work, and childcare responsibilities and are searching for answers. Please join the Single Moms Design Team for a discussion with on-campus and community partners to assist our Student-Parents in learning what is available to them in terms of child care, before and after school care, and camps.</p>

Greetings to all. In light of the developments at the college, the Student Services summer professional development series is offering additional career enhancement zoom workshops. We recognize that this is a challenging time for everyone, so these sessions are designed to empower individuals in their current roles and for any potential future opportunities.
