Dr. Mary Ann M. DeMario presented at Ascend at the Aspen Institute

On June 23, Dr. Mary Ann M. DeMario (Institutional Research) presented to a team of Student Success Leaders from 22 colleges across the nation at Ascend at the Aspen Institute. The purposes of the virtual session were twofold: to demonstrate the efficacy of Student-Parent data collection, and to provide proof points for data collection on college campuses. Co-presenting with a representative from Achieving the Dream, Mary Ann spoke about MCC's RDE Survey and how it is used to uncover information about Student-Parents.

During the 2019-20 academic year, 22% of MCC students were Student-Parents. More than half of them were Single Mom Learners.
