Presenting Epic Rap Performers "Bert and Det"

We are having what we think will be a great event for the entire college on Wednesday March 2, 2022.  Actually, it’s an event to celebrate “Black History Month” not in February but in March. Since February is such a short month and we had the break, we thought why not March.  When you think about it, Black History should be celebrated every month.

Please join us with two talented Rap artist “Bert & Det” who will give us an historical take on rap from a unique entertaining perspective.  They play the role of famous Black leaders who “Battle Rap” from different view-points.  Think of the Broadway play “Hamilton”.  You can believe students will be engaged and have fun.  Also, it is a unique way to learn about great historical Black leaders who have helped make America great.

We will be streaming the event at the Downtown Campus, High Falls for those who cannot be on the Brighton Campus.

We will have “Soul Food” provided as long as it last (limited).
