Dr. Emeterio M. Otero, Executive Dean of the Damon City Campus, delivered the keynote address at the 15th Annual Senior Celebration of the Hillside Work Scholarship Connection. Dr. Otero spoke about post-high school choices and consequences to 200 seniors representing every high school in the Rochester City School District. The event was held on June 10th at the Strong Auditorium at the University of Rochester. Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection’s mission is to increase the high school graduation rate among urban students, equipping students with the essentials skills and knowledge to graduate and pursue post secondary education or enter the workforce.
