Starfish News -- the Academic Progress Report is now ready for faculty to complete

Thank you for your participation in the Starfish Attendance Early Intervention Survey Piloted on 9/14. It was the first time we deployed a survey that included all students taking face-to-face classes. We had over an 80% response rate! We will be deploying another Attendance Survey after the 4th week of classes as part of the Attendance Early Intervention project.

Yesterday, faculty received an email request to complete the Academic Progress Report for each class they teach. These target special populations only, so you will NOT see your full roster when you fill out the report. If you have other students you wish to raise a flag or give a kudo to, you can do so manually outside this report. (See attached guides for completing a progress report or for raising flags and kudos manually)

The following Flags are available in the report:

Early Alert: Academic Progress (Email Notification Only)
Early Alert: Urgent Academic Concern (Outreach Requested)
Early Alert: Student Needs Course Materials (Outreach Requested)

Note: The flag name tells you the intervention you can expect. Email Notification Only flags are a communication to the student and documentation in Starfish that is visible to their Success Network. Students who receive Outreach Requested flags will get an email when the flag is raised, and their Success Coach will try to contact the student to help connect him/her to the appropriate resources so they can be successful in the class.

The following kudos are available in the report:

You're Off to a Great Start
Great Participation!
Thank You!
You Rock!
