Emerging Entrepreneurs Program Receives a "Thumbs Up"


MCC’s new Emerging Entrepreneur program received a “Thumbs Up” from the Democrat and Chronicle Editorial Board on Aug. 9. Under the direction of Sherry Tshibangu, Business Administration & Economics, this scholarship program gives aspiring entrepreneurs the tools they need to start and manage their own small businesses. The program was also highlighted earlier by the Democrat and Chronicle and RNews.

Thumbs up For the new entrepreneurship programs being offered by Monroe Community College and Genesee Community College and sponsored by the U.S. Labor Department's Finger Lakes Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development. The programs will be free to students and will pay the costs of tuition and books.
