Chris Abbott Reflects on 34 Years of Service

One of this year's Carmen Powers Legacy Lecture Series honorees is Chris Abbott, Professor of Mathematics. After 34 years of service, Professor Abbott is retiring from MCC. Professor Abbott leaves behind a legacy of leadership and commitment to the MCC community. As Professor Abbott's nomination letter stated, she served in several leadership positions over the years, including department chair, Faculty Senate president, Faculty Council Teaching Director, interim dean, and co-chair of the Middle States review committee. Not to mention Professor Abbott received a Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2011. Attached you will find Professor's Abbott's reflection.
