Congratulations to Angelique Stevens

Please congratulate professor Angelique Stevens who was selected as one of 55 out of 1400 applicants to be a fellow in the inaugural year of the Periplus Collective. Over the next year, Angelique will work with the award-winning author of Aftershocks, Nadia Owusu.

The goal of the Periplus Collective is to connect writers who are Black, Indigenous, and people of color with mentors—the impressive list of which includes Hanif Abdurraquib, Jenna Wortham, Allison P. Davis, and Laura van den Berg—who could coach them on craft, business, and other topics related to their work.​
