Professor Kathleen O'Shea Groundbreaking Literature Anthology

Congratulations to Professor Kathleen O'Shea (English/Philosophy) whose new anthology So Much More Than a Headache: Understanding Migraine through Literature, was released by Kent State University Press in July. Years of reading and research have resulted in this rich and varied compilation of migraine-related texts across the centuries. As O'Shea's publishers have noted, So Much More Than a Headache "addresses a real omission in the available works on migraine, provides a resource for those who may have under­estimated the depth and range of writing on this subject, and challenges the cultural bias that dismisses migraine as merely a headache."
