MCC Scholars Program, University of Rochester's Warner School of Education

On Tuesday, May 18, 2021, the MCC Review and Selection Committee met to review the applications submitted for the MCC Scholars Program with the Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester. The members of the Review and Selection Committee consists of the following employees:

  • Juanita Leone, Secretary, Applied Technologies, and Support Staff Planning Council
  • Joann L. Santos, Director CSTEP and Committee Chair, IDEA Professional Development Sub-Committee
  • Joseph Scanlon, Ph.D., Anthropology, History, Political Science & Sociology, and Faculty Senate Professional Development Committee
  • Kara J. Tierney, Chemistry and Geoscience
  • Eric Wheeler, Assistant Director, Veteran Services

The selection process was competitive and I want to thank the review committee for the care taken to give full consideration to all applicants.  Based on the review process, the President's Cabinet has approved the following employees as the third cohort for the University of Rochester Warner School of Education Ed.D. program to begin this summer:

  • Rebecca Griffin, Chair, Hospitality Management
  • Christina H. Lee, Coordinator, Global Education and International Services (GEIS)
  • Shameka Martinez, Student Advisor, Career and Technical Education (EDIWS)
  • Sarah Pantaleo, Associate Director Testing Services
