AAWCC Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

It’s that time of year again! Collections for the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit families at Wilson Commencement Park begin on Monday, November 17th. This is a project of the American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) Service Committee, in collaboration with Damon City Campus’ Human Services Club.

We will collect canned goods, boxed items and financial donations until Monday, November 24th. Donations of stuffing, corn meal, instant potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, canned vegetables and macaroni are especially needed. The attached flyer has a comprehensive list. The gifts will be delivered in laundry baskets again this year. Please consider donating a laundry basket or bringing your food items in one.

Financial donations and gift cards from local grocery stores are also welcome. Please make your check payable to Wilson Commencement Park and send it to Melissa Santiago in the Financial Aid Office (Room 6-207 - Brighton Campus).
