SUNY Upstate Medical Updates Pooled Testing Registration Site

As you may have discovered if you participated in yesterday's COVID-19 pooled (saliva) testing session, SUNY Upstate Medical University continues to update its COVID-19 test registration site. Recent updates are designed to simplify the test registration experience but may confuse you as enter the MCC Pooled Testing Center.

Rest assured that MCC Public Safety staff and volunteers are available at the testing center to assist you.

If your saliva sample is part of a positive pool, MCC Health Services staff will notify you immediately and direct you to precautionarily quarantine until the specific person(s) who tested positive within the pool are identified. You will not be contacted if your pool tested negative.

If you test positive with another provider, such as the New York State drive-through testing site on the Brighton Campus, immediately forward your test results to MCC Human Resources Director Kristin Lowe (klowe5@monroecc.edu) and MCC Health Services (healthsvc@monroecc.edu).

With your cooperation, since September 2020, MCC has administered more than 9,000 pooled tests and identified 28 positive cases (0.31%) before the virus spread to others on campus. Thank you for your efforts to stay safe and keep our campuses and sites accessible for in-person learning and services.
