Judi Salsburg Selected as President-Elect for the Northeast Chapter of the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA)

Judi Salsburg, Associate Professor, Transitional Studies, has accepted the role of President-Elect for the Northeast Chapter of the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).

The organization sought Judi out as a forward thinking leader in the field of reading for this three year commitment (two as President-Elect and one as President). As the only officer from a community college, she will not only be representing MCC, but all community colleges.

CRLA is a group of student-oriented professionals active in the fields of reading, learning assistance, developmental education, tutoring, and mentoring at the college/adult level and is inherently diverse in membership. CRLA’s most vital function and overall purpose is to provide a forum for the interchange of ideas, methods, and information to improve student learning and to facilitate the professional growth of its members.
