Search Update - Chief of Staff Finalists On Campus: April 17, 18, and 20

Next week, the MCC community welcomes three (3) Chief of Staff finalist candidates to campus on April 17, 18, and 20. 

The Chief of Staff serves as a senior advisor to the President on significant and sensitive issues and is a member of the President’s Executive Leadership Team. The Chief of Staff will consistently demonstrate strategic and trustworthy leadership on a host of matters and projects on the behalf of the President while working collaboratively and cross-functionally to advance the mission of the college.

We thank search co-chairs Mark Pastorella and Michael Bates, as well the entire Chief of Staff search committee, for their time, diligence, and expertise.  

Finalist candidate names, CVs, Zoom open forum links, and candidate feedback survey links will be shared via the Trib on the morning of their respective interview dates.  

Here is information about the interview process, including opportunities for you to participate:

  1. Finalist candidates will meet with a variety of stakeholder groups and representatives during their on campus interviews, consistent with MCC's robust and inclusive interview process.  
  2. Finalist candidate open forums will be conducted via Zoom and are open to the entire MCC community.  Open forums are scheduled at 12:00PM on April 17, 18, and 20.  Mark your calendars!
  3. You are invited to submit questions in advance to be asked of finalist candidates during the open forums.  Please submit questions for consideration by email to Kristing Lowe (klowe5@monroecc.edu). 
  4. If you are not able to attend an open forum, we invite you to view the open forum recordings.  Recordings will be made available via the Trib.
  5. Your input is welcomed and encouraged via the electronic candidate surveys.  Survey links will be posted in the Trib.
