Executive Dean Frater speaks on the First Amendment

Dr. Joel Frater, Executive Dean of MCC's Downtown Campus, was a panelist on Friday, April 20 in Buffalo, N.Y. Dr. Frater was invited by the University Faculty Senate to participate in a conversation about the First Amendment, along with Austin Ostro - Chief of Staff /SUNY SA & Student /SUNY Albany; Lucinda Finley - Frank G. Raichle Professor of Trial and Appellate Advocacy/University at Buffalo; Wendy Gordon - Professor of History/ SUNY Plattsburgh & CGL/UFS; Brian Masciadrelli - Social Work Program Director/SUNY Fredonia; and UFS Parliamentarian, Sharon Cramer as Moderator. The audience was comprised of faculty senators (state-operated campuses), campus governance leaders, invited guests (Student Assembly, Faculty Council of Community Colleges, UUP) and members of the public.
