Hezekiah (Heze) Simmons, vice president, administrative services was elected to a two-year term as president of the Jefferson Avenue Childhood Development Center at the board meeting on December 3, 2008.
The Jefferson Avenue Childhood Development Center (JACDC) has served the Jefferson Avenue-Genesee Section of Rochester for 35-plus years. JACDC offers quality child care and early childhood education programs to children who are 6 weeks through 12 years old. The JACDC is accredited by the NAEYC Academy for Early Childhood Program Accreditation. The center is also an active participant in the continuation of the development of Jefferson Avenue—Genesee Section in Rochester.
