Johnson speaks to area high school students

On April 28th, Michael Johnson, a Damon City Campus counselor, addressed 25 high school juniors and seniors as part of a Higher Education Information Session for the Rochester Step-off Educational Foundation, Inc.  Rochester Step-Off works primarily with minority students from the City School District and surrounding suburban districts to strengthen and develop youth by improving academic performance, personal character, civic responsibility and community partnership.  They strive to reduce the barriers that impede success in high school and encourage the pursuit of a college education.  Students received information about MCC's application process, programs available at MCC, as well as financial aid and career exploration information.
