A few errors were discovered in the 2014-2015 Catalog and Student Handbook. Please make these changes to your printed catalog.

Page 91: Gender and Sexuality Studies, Fourth Semester; SOC 130 renumbered to SOC 211.

Global Studies, First Semester, ANT 102 Title is Cultural Anthropology.

Global Studies, Second Semester, delete “Sequence” after Foreign Language Elective.

Global Studies, Third Semester, SOC 150 renumbered to SOC 210.

This course focuses on the Social, Political, Economic, and Cultural factors associated with development of urban communities, the characteristics of urban institutions, trends in urban planning, ecological processes, and the effects upon urban communities of development and migration. Three class hours. (SUNY-SS). Course offered Fall and Spring semesters.

Prerequisite: SOC 101.

Page 222: The description for SOC 204 Sociology of the Family – WR should read:

A sociological analysis of the family as a social institution: its origin, structure and variations; and patterns of intimate relationships. Examines family organization and disorganization through analysis of mate selection, sexuality, gender and family roles, marriage and divorce, parenthood, and the diversity of family composition. Investigates key concerns for contemporary American families including communication and power, the balance of work and family obligations, the impact of social change, and current social policy issues. Three class hours.
