TCC: New Bandwidth Recovery book group on Wednesdays at 2pm

Join the Teaching and Creativity Center (TCC) as we collectively read Bandwidth Recovery: Helping Students Reclaim Cognitive Resources Lost to Racism, Poverty and Social Marginalization, by Cia Vershelden.

This is a new group added since the earlier announcement.

We are now offering three book groups. All participants will receive a free copy of the book! Please contact the facilitators directly to join.

This group will meet on the following Wednesdays at 2:00pm in the TCC (12-201):

Oct. 30 - Part One: The Costs of Racism, Poverty, and Social Marginalization

Nov. 20- Part Two: Sociopsychological Underminers

Dec. 11- Part Three: Interventions That Mitigate The Negative Effects of Poverty and The Underminers

This group will be led by: Renée Coleman, Psychology and Mark Sample, History.
