Accepting Applications for the Alice Holloway Young Diversity Internship Program

Monroe Community College values integrity, excellence, empowerment, inclusiveness, collaboration, and stewardship. These values help guide our behavior as MCC students and employees. One way in which the college is striving to improve the diversity of teaching and non-teaching faculty and staff at MCC is through the Dr. Alice Holloway Young Diversity Internship Program (AHYDIP). The establishment of the AHYDIP is a representation of MCC's commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, primarily in the teaching faculty at MCC. And, since its inception, the AHYDIP has been expanded to encourage talented individuals from underrepresented ethnic or racial groups to consider a career in a community college as either teaching or non-teaching faculty.

If you know of individuals in the greater Rochester community who you believe would benefit from learning more about MCC and who could help increase the diversity of teaching and non-teaching faculty, please encourage them to apply. To apply, please click on the AHYDIP description, which will take you to the MCC Job Opportunities webpage.

Please note that the deadline for applications will be Friday, February 21, 2020, at 11:59 PM. For additional questions regarding the program, please contact Dr. Calvin J. Gantt, Chief Diversity Officer at (585) 292-2125, or via email at diversity@MCC.edu.
