Copyright Essentials for Faculty

Now that faculty can effortlessly copy and distribute digital information, understanding copyright and fair use laws and applying them in the classroom have become challenging. To help faculty and administrators negotiate those complexities, MCC’s libraries and the Teaching & Creativity Center are offering a three-part webcast series, “Copyright Essentials for Faculty.” The instructors, all J.D.s, are from Duke University, Purdue University, and the Rhode Island School of Design.

The series will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on April 12, 14, and 16 in the LeRoy V. Good Library instruction classroom (2-423).

It is open to all MCC faculty and academic administrators, but space is limited to 25 people. To RSVP, go to the TCC website’s Events page, https://web.monroecc.edu/TCC/events, and click on the RSVP link. Deadline for RSVPs is 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 7.
