SaveOnSP Program through Accredo Specialty Pharmacy

Recently a mailing was sent by Excellus to MCC health plan participants regarding Accredo Specialty Pharmacy’s SaveOnSP program for Tier 3 specialty medications.  This letter was sent to participants that were identified by Excellus as using specialty pharmacy medication.

The SaveOnSP program information is legit and requires your attention.  The SaveOnSP program is a specialty pharmacy drug program managed by Accredo Specialty Pharmacy. This company is used by Excellus with employers that have self-funded health plans to reduce prescription copayments.

Please review the SaveOnSP FAQs regarding the SaveOnSP Program through Accredo Specialty Pharmacy on the Employee Benefits tile under Human Resources.  A list of Tier 3 specialty drugs is available here.  If you believe you have misplaced your letter from Excellus, please review the FAQ for your next steps.
