The office of Student Life & Leadership Development presents the following events for next week (please share with students):

A “Batch” of Hocus Pocus & Halloween Costume Contest

  • Monday, October 31st, 12:00 pm- 2:00 pm, 2nd Floor Lounge Downtown Campus
    Stop by the student lounge and decorate cookies while watching the new Hocus Pocus 2 movie! The perfect combination of sweet and spooky! Also, show up in your best costume and be entered to win best costume/character!

Halloween Costume Contest

  • Monday, October 31st, 12:00 pm- 1:00 pm, Campus Center Atrium Brighton Campus
    Join First Year Experience and Campus Activities Board on Halloween for a costume contest. FYE will be giving away prizes for best costumes and CAB will be handing out Halloween cupcakes!

Halloween Movie Night

  • Monday, October 31st, 7:30 pm- 9:00 pm, Campus Center Forum (3-130)
    Join Campus Activities Board for a showing of the new Halloween movie! Enjoy spooky snacks and a fun time!

Narcan Training

  • Tuesday, November 1st, 4:00 pm-5:00 pm, Campus Center Forum (3-130)
    Join WMCC and Trillium Health as they host a Narcan training where you can learn how to save a life. Attendees will receive a FREE Narcan Kit upon completion of training. Registration is recommended, please email twalker@monroecc.edu to register.

    Join Disabilities Awareness Club for their fall social event!

Rock -n- Enroll

  • Thursday, November 3rd, 11:30 am- 2:00 pm, Campus Center Atrium
    Join Phi Theta Kappa for their College Project as they help students get registered for the spring semester! Get 1:1 assistance from advisors and learn more about MCC resources!  There will be refreshments and giveaways!

Advocating for Transgender Health

  • Thursday, November 3rd, 3:00 pm, Brighton Campus Bldg. 8-300
    Join Student Nurses Association for a presentation from the Transgender Center of Excellence at Trillium Health to learn how to advocate for Transgender health!
