Peer mentors Joe Bovenzi and Donna Johnson (shown left to right in the accompanying photo) thank faculty, staff and students for attending a reception ceremony Monday in the Empire Room that welcomed the traveling AIDS Quilt. Peer mentors brought the quilt to MCC, which is on display in the Forum through Dec. 5. Dr. Susan Salvador, vice president of Student Services, provided opening remarks and Dr. Roberto Corales, internal medicine/HIV specialist with Community Health Network, gave the keynote address.
