CSTEP Recognizes Student Accomplishments at Annual Ceremony


On Wednesday, May 13th, CSTEP students were recognized for their accomplishments which included Dean’s List, Academic Achievement (GPA over 3.0), Research Experiences, Internships, Poster Presentations, Graduation and Transfer to a 4-year institution.  The guest speaker was Dr. Isidro Bosch, Professor of Biology at SUNY Geneseo.

CSTEP is funded by the New York State Education Department.  Its mission is to increase the numbers of historically underrepresented individuals pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), licensed and health professions.  For the 08-09 academic year, the MCC CSTEP enrolled 130 students.
