Keep MCC documents secure - utilize MCC's resources!

While using free tools such as Google Drive, Google Docs, Dropbox and others to easily share information with students, colleagues and the community is tempting, these tools are not sanctioned or supported by the College. MCC does not have agreements with these vendors, so they have no obligation to adhere to MCC's information security policy, privacy policy, or our commitment to ADA compliance.

Even if the document is meant for the public and contains no personal information, such as an event flyer, it could put the College at risk if the settings are wrong. Vendors can also use the information submitted to them to sell market research, increasing the Colleges' exposure to spam and cyber attacks.

Please utilize the tools the College supports to share your information, including the M Drive, Outlook email, MCC websites and Blackboard. If you have a special circumstance, please contact the Technology Support Center or submit a technology request directly through myMCC.
