ALSI to host Agriculture Summer Camp for Kids

MCC’s Agriculture and Life Sciences Institute will host an Agriculture Summer Camp for Kids, July 19-22. This all-day program for boys and girls (ages 8 to 12) offers a blend of science and fun. Children will experience diverse ways of exploring plants and insects, learn how to test soil fertility and have fun practicing global positioning system (GPS) skills in a geocache adventure.

A variety of hands-on lessons will be taught by MCC experts such as Jennifer Markham (Biology), Brian Edelbach (Chemistry and Geosciences), Bob King, Ph.D. (Agriculture and Life Sciences Institute) and Dan Robertson (Chemistry and Geosciences).

The session costs $250 per child; early and after care are available. Please see the attached brochure and registration form for more information.

Registration deadline is June 30.
