Meet the New www.monroecc.edu

Today's the day the new <"https://www.monroecc.edu/"> homepage makes its Web debut. We're very excited about the new design, and we hope you are, too.  Things to look for include:

- Prominent spaces to share strong MCC images and stories

- More interactivity and engagement

- Stronger representation of college colors

- Simple, easy-to-use navigation

- Links to social media such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter

- More flexibility to include image galleries, videos, and highlighted feature areas on pages

All other pages (e.g. department-level pages) have received a “facelift” so header and color palette match the college  colors now used on the Web, but all departmental content, links, images and navigation currently remain the same.

Although things have moved a bit, you'll still be able to access the tools and links you use regularly.  The Search box, along with links to the Department and Employee directories and the A to Z Web Index, are now found in the upper right corner of each page. There is also an Employees link that leads directly to the college’s employee portal, myMCC. As well, many of the links from the previous homepage's Quick Links box are available now at the bottom of each page.

Starting in Fall, the Web team will be in contact with individual departments regarding departmental Web content, and will work with departments to revise and move content into the college's new page designs. Other future projects include exploring the creation of a mobile website for MCC.

Thanks for your patience as we make these exciting changes, and stay tuned for more updates as we continue to add to MCC's website. If you have any questions, please contact <mailto:cbarry@monroecc.edu>.
