This is an update to the earlier Crime Prevention Bulletin regarding recent thefts. Please be aware of anyone acting suspicious or not authorized to be in your office suite. Be sure the office door is locked behind you when you leave the area unattended even for a few moments. In the previously reported incidents and the two most recent thefts, the perpetrator was in the area and the wallets removed in less than a minute. The credit cards found in the wallets were used within 1 hour at area malls and merchandise was charged in excess of $5,000.00. The perpetrator will look as if they are lost and if confronted, ask to be directed somewhere unrelated to your department or area. They may be seen several times in the same area or hallway.
