Single Stop at MCC Generates Media Interest

Within a month of the Single Stop at MCC program launch, more than 60 MCC students have applied for access to potential benefits, services and other resources to help them overcome financial challenges and stay in school.

Single Stop at MCC connects students and their families to a range of free and low-cost community resources and wraparound services, including assistance with food benefits, transportation, child care subsidies and medical care.

Peggy Harvey-Lee, who oversees the program and meets with applicants, recently spoke with 13WHAM News and the Democrat and Chronicle about the program. MCC students Devon Paul, Tasha Gray and Rosemary Titus were also interviewed.
