On Wednesday, December 7th, Ambika Howell (DCC-Student Services) received a “Certificate of Mentorship” from Black Student Union at Damon City Campus President, Litasia Blanding during the BSU @ DCC “Black Is…Celebration.” Ms. Blanding stated that Howell, who also works as a COS instructor, was instrumental in inspiring Blanding to succeed academically throughout her time at MCC. Before she completed her education this semester, Blanding wanted to acknowledge Howell’s role as a mentor.
