Money Available for Faculty/Staff Projects and Equipment

Have an idea to help students or want to expand your course or program, but just need some funding to make it happen? Then be sure to submit your proposal to this year's Internal Grants Competition.

Last year, grants totaling nearly $650,000 were awarded to MCC faculty and staff which resulted in new courses, degree programs, display cases, software and student incentives - all because someone like you took the time to submit a brief proposal. So, if there's something you are passionate about, why not apply? There's nothing to lose.

If you need help getting started, please plan to attend an upcoming workshop hosted by the Grants Office. Representatives will walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

Grant Workshops:
* Nov. 6, 2002 Board Lounge, Room 1-320, Brighton Campus, College Hour: Noon - 1:00 pm

*Nov. 7, 2002 Room 4-057, Damon City Campus (access through the library), College Hour: Noon - 1:00 pm

Please RSVP by calling Susan Davis, secretary, Grants, at x3028. Feel free to bring your lunch to either of the workshops.

The 2002-2003 Internal Grants Competition will kick off on Nov. 1. Proposals must be submitted by Dec. 20 to be considered. Look for more information next week on where to get your application package.
