SUNY Brockport Program Updates

SUNY Brockport is offering a new BS degree in Neuroscience. Housed in the Biology department, this interdisciplinary field draws upon the knowledge bases of biology, chemistry, and psychology.

Their Athletic Training program is now being offered at the graduate level; it is no longer at the undergraduate level. Students interested in Athletic Training at the undergraduate level are encouraged to pursue the Pre-Athletic Training program where students will major in Exercise Science and/or Kinesiology.

Another new major is Community Justice. Housed in the Anthropology department, students in this program will be taught cultural competency, anthropological research methodologies (including forensics), the principles of the criminal justice system, and the ethical complexities of promoting justice.
