Animal Assisted Therapy Workshop Series

Animal Assisted Therapy is a form of therapy that uses animals to help people achieve specific goals in their lives.  MCC is part of the Rochester Animal Assisted Therapy Initiative, working to develop interest in the Rochester area for a certification program.  To better understand Animal Assisted Therapy there will be a series of workshops held at MCC (7pm on Oct. 28th in the Flynn Campus Center Forum) regarding AAT basics, St John Fisher on Nov. 19 to cover specific uses of AAT, and later at Nazareth College and Lollypop Farm.

Pam Korte of MCC will be the speaker at the October 28th workshop.  For more details, contact Pam at <mailto:pkorte@monroecc.edu>, Dale Doty at <mailto:ddoty@monroecc.edu>, or Rob Rice at <mailto:rrice@sjfc.edu>.
