Those are the fundamental questions that will be discussed at noon Wednesday, Feb. 16, and at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the Teaching & Creativity Center, room 315 of the LeRoy V. Good Library on the Brighton campus.
Susan Thompson of the Psychology Department will facilitate a conversation on the issues raised in chapters 4 and 5 of Daniel Willingham’s book Why Don’t Students Like School? A Cognitive Scientist Answers Questions about How the Mind Works and What It Means for the Classroom.
