After two more regional and district championships, the MCC men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named the collective MCC Athletes of the Week.
The MCC men finished with 427 points, beating out Alfred State which finished second with 387. It was their ninth straight Region III/Northeast District title.
On the women's side, a balanced and relentless attack resulted in 578 points for Monroe, the most ever scored in the meet. Genesee CC finished in second place with 331 points. It was the fourth straight championship for the Tribune ladies.
Both teams will now advance to the NJCAA national championship meet, held March 5-8 in Indian River, FL.
