Degree Works follow-up

The Degree Works upgrade is now complete and while it appears to be stable, there have been some reports of trouble logging in.  We are attempting to resolve any issues and thank you for your patience.

If you are having problems with Degree Works performance (getting error messages, blank pages, etc.) please try these solutions:

1.       Use Internet Explorer (IE) as your browser*

2.       Delete your browsing history (Press Ctrl-Shift-Delete for Windows or Command-Shift Delete for Mac)

3.       Reboot (Restart) your computer

4.       Do not use bookmarked URLs

5.       Log into Degree Works via myMCC/Faculty tab/Degree Works channel/Degree Works Login.

NOTE: Some users have reported an Error 403 message when using Self-Service Banner.  Until this is resolved, please use the above mentioned login.

6.       If you are getting a blank page or an Error 500 message, try toggling between tabs (for instance, if you are on the Worksheet tab, try to run a ‘What-If’, then return to the Worksheet)

If you are still experiencing difficulty, please report the incident by calling the Employee Technology Support Center at 292-TECH (8324), Option 3.

*According to the vendor’s documentation, Degree Works is compatible with Internet Explorer, Chrome, Fire Fox and Safari, however, it  may require that you use a particular version of these browsers.  Since we have found the least amount of problems with Degree Works when using Internet Explorer, we recommend that you use this browser.
