In celebration of International Education Week and Geography Awareness Week we are hosting the following events TODAY:

International Careers Panel

12:00 – 12:50 p.m.

Come hear from the experts regarding international careers available for our students.  Panelists include former Peace Corps Volunteer Professor Kara Tierney and a Peace Corps recruiter; Business Department chair and international business consultant John Striebich; English for Speakers of Other Languages professionals who’ve taught abroad; and a graduate student who helps immigrant entrepreneurs.  

Globalize Your Resume Workshop
Career Center Library, Building 3, Room 108
1:00 – 1:50 p.m.

Students learn how to craft a resume highlighting cross cultural skills and experiences about global work, volunteer and intern options that will help develop cross cultural skills employers want.  Pam Lazio, career counselor, and Kara Tierney (chemistry) will engage students in this session.
