On Wednesday, February 17, Sean Baker, Computer Services, claimed victory in the 7th Annual Third Floor, Spina Administration Bldg. Scone Bake-Off with his raspberry/rosemary scones with lemon icing.
Other scone bakers included: MCC President Anne Kress; Jeff Bartkovich, ETS; Janet Ekis, College and Community Relations; Gale Lepore, Curriculum and Program Development; Jean Heinsler, Office and Computer Programs; Bill Wagoner, ETS; and Connie Herrera, Enrollment Management/Mkting. Last year’s winner Berni Duffy, College and Community Relations, contributed her scones as a non-competing baker.
Judges included: Diana Rayner, MCC retiree; Berni Duffy; and Trung Nguyen, Campus Center.
Ticket sale proceeds raised $294 for MCC’s Student Food Cupboard. Many thanks to all who participated.
