Celebrate the Celtic Nation of Galicia with MCC Celtic Society

Please join MCC Celtic Society TODAY at 6 p.m. in Room 12-113 for a screening of THE WAY, the final film in our year-long Celtic Film Festival.

Starring father and son actors Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez,
THE WAY tells the story of a father who travels to Spain to claim the body of his son who died while traveling El Camino de Santiago (The Way of Saint James), a medieval pilgrimage route that ends at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, northwestern Spain.

After the film screening, recent pilgrim Sarah Norris will share her experience traveling the Santiago Way.

The event is FREE, as is the popcorn and soda that will be available.

Celtic Society’s purpose is to raise awareness of the Celtic Nations (Brittany, Cornwall, Galicia, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland, Wales) and diaspora. It aims to share and celebrate Celtic culture with the college community.
