Rochester Area Children’s Writers & Illustrators (RACWI), in cooperation 292-BABY, will host its 12th annual book festival on Saturday, November 8th, from 10am-4pm in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet more than 40 local children’s authors and illustrators and to purchase signed copies of their books. More than 350 titles for children of all ages will be on display.
RACWI is also pleased to provide a variety of book-related activities for children throughout the day, including readings, hands-on writing and illustrating activities, and workshop activities, led by authors and illustrators, like drawing cartoons or superheroes. Additionally, there will be crafts, word games, and special programs for tweens and teens. The festival is also a great way to do some early holiday shopping! Admission is FREE.
