Community Fridays for a Cause - February

The next “Community Fridays for a Cause” is Friday, February 10th.

AIDS Care will be the recipient of donations raised through the “Community Fridays for a Cause” program.

AIDS Care is the leading provider of HIV/AIDS services in Rochester and the Finger Lakes.

Twenty years ago the idea of creating a comprehensive, community-based health care center for people with HIV/AIDS was innovative and daring. Today, the AIDS Care model of treatment has been so successful that it has become a benchmark in long-term HIV care.

The AIDS Care approach to patient care, simply put, is that patients and clients receive the comprehensive range of cutting-edge medical care and support services they need conveniently located under one roof.  From the initial intake interview to the physician visit, to the full complement of services, AIDS Care provides complete, unsurpassed care for people living with HIV - all in a supportive, healing environment.  AIDS Care staff members provide a wealth of knowledge and experience and offer an expansive array of medical, prevention, and social services, making it easier for patients and clients to receive the complete care they need.

This Friday, February 10th wear school colors to show your support of our College community and AIDS Care.  Your generous donations through the “Community Fridays for a Cause” program will help AIDS Care ensure those in need of services will continue to receive a comprehensive level of care.

Donations will be collected in each department.  All checks should be made out to AIDS Care.  Donation envelopes have been returned to the departments to be used again on February 10th.   Please bring donation envelopes to Jodee Biller in the Controller’s Office no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, February 10th.
