Peer Mentor Program Gets Media Attention

Students in S.A.V.I.O.R.S., a committee within the Brighton Campus Peer Mentors, put together a program Wednesday evening for students, faculty, staff and the public on "kids killing kids." Guest speaker and new Rochester Police Chief Moore discussed his plans to curb violence. Student Clenita Thomas spoke earlier in the day with a reporter from R News about the program and how youth violence affects her life.

Copies of three of the stories that ran on 10NBC, MSNBC and R News and a copy of the article in the Democrat and Chronicle are noted in the attached documents. Kudos to the Peer Mentors for presenting such an impactful program and many thanks to Clenita for filling the media's very last-minute request for an interview.
