Taking Time for Self-Reflection

Happy New Year colleagues.  Although 2020 is in our rearview mirror, the work of diversity, equity and inclusion remains a constant in the future of America.  The work of DE&I never ends and it requires a commitment to stay-the-course for all.  To encourage that we continue the work that we started this fall, below are a few self-reflection questions and thoughts on ways that you can become more involved in the Rochester Community.

Questions to Consider for Self-Reflection:

  • Have you continued the habit of focusing on racial equity after the Challenge ended?
  • Schedule 10-15 minutes on your calendar each day just as you did with the Challenge to learn, reflect and take action.
  • Do you have a resolution around racial equity for this year?
  • If not, get started by checking out this Racial Equity & Inclusion Action Guide from The Annie E. Casey Foundation for seven steps to advance race, equity and inclusion in your workplace.
