More Logistics Information for Clinton Campaign Event Today


Please be aware of the following restrictions and closings surrounding the Hillary Clinton campaign organizing event on the Brighton Campus today, Friday, April 8.

· Lots G and N are closed all day Friday. Parking for the event is in M and M1. Employees and students may also use their designated parking lots (with the exception of Lot G).

· The gymnasium is closed through Friday evening.

· The north hallway (Rooms 110-138) in the Stabins Physical Education Complex will close for a security sweep noon-3:00 pm Friday. Only security team members will be allowed in this area during the security sweep. Following the sweep, faculty and staff may return to their offices via the hallway nearest Gleason Hall (Bldg. 9). Public Safety personnel will be on site to facilitate access.

· Remaining areas in the Stabins Physical Education Complex and PAC Center will close at 12:30 pm Friday.

· For the general public (including employees and students), entrance to the event will be via the Stabins Complex north entrance, adjacent to the Athletic Hall of Fame. Doors open at 4:00 pm. Event begins at 6:00 pm.

· Persons with disabilities will access the event via the Stabins Complex north entrance, near Lot G.

· Gym capacity is 1,300; no more than 1,300 will be allowed to enter.


Per campaign organizers, umbrellas, selfie sticks and signs will not be allowed in the gymnasium. (An umbrella receptacle will be provided.) No coat racks will be available. When the program begins, entrance to the gym will cease.
