Kudos to ICT Faculty Stacey Lautenslager, Piloting CTE Professions Course

The second 100 Day Project for MCC included a component that entailed delivering curriculum that exposed students to careers in CTE Professions.  Stacey Lautenslager did a fantastic job in innovating, pioneering, and implementing the CTE Professions Course with our first community partner, Rochester City School District’s Office of Adult and Career Education Services (OACES).   OACES students were able to assess themselves through inventories, learning style modules, and our very own specialized CTE career clusters inventory, learn from industry experts, explore real-time jobs and careers through Career Coach, and finally present out to their peers.
