Tracey Britton joins DCC Student Services


Tracey Britton has been appointed as a Counselor for DCC Student Services.  She will provide personal counseling and student development services, and will focus especially on transfer and wellness services at the Damon City Campus.

Tracey has been an Academic Advisor and the Women’s Soccer Coach at Monroe Community College since January, 1999.  As an Advisor, Tracey advised and developed plans for student athletes’ academic and career goals, registered and advised students in 2+2 programs  and worked with students preparing for transfer.    She led the women’s soccer team to national championships and also was national coach of the year in 2001, 2004 and 2005.  

Prior to MCC, Tracey was a school psychologist at elementary and high school levels facilitating both individual and group counseling.  She holds an M.S. in School Psychology from Rochester Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Psychology from Hobart and William Smith College, as well as a graduate certificate in “Creativity and Change Leadership” from Buffalo State College.
